Acupuncture and Chinese herbs can be subtle but powerful forms of treatment. Sessions are customized to the patient’s unique needs and each patient responds at a different pace.
We request that you commit to 4 sessions of acupuncture &/or Chinese herbs after which time we decide on the next course of action.
Many conditions take on average 8-12 sessions for a shift in symptoms to occur. Some patients may require more or less to see results.

Dr Picara will focus on changing your lifestyle, your diet, and thoughts/beliefs, as well as address mental, physical and emotional patterns and routines that relate to your holistic health.
Supplements and herbal recommendations are included.
At the end of the initial session, you and Dr Picara determine what kind of follow up sessions are best for your unique needs.

Included in this is approximately two hours of my time to research your specific needs and deep dive into your action plan
6 Month Program

Twelve 45 minute follow up session (twice a month) to help with implementation, provide support, and problem solving. This may include guiding you through exercises that will be recorded for you to implement on your own.
Five 15 minutes email or phone call support sessions
Included in this is approximately two hours of my time to research you specific needs and deep dive into your action plan
